Modular lighting
One core.
Five structures.
Interchangeable bone-inspired shades.
Built around one shared base and LED light.
The shared interface
Change the shade.
Keep the light.
The light and its wiring stay in the base. Remove the orange rear key, rotate the shade approximately 24°, then lift it off. All five shades use the same collar and clear the same diffuser.
The diffuser has a separate bayonet and removable pin for light-module access.
OsTeO / Built into the base
The mark is part
of the print.
The OsTeO wordmark is a raised relief that follows the curved front of the common base, printed as part of the solid.
Honest engineering
What has been
checked.
The shade connection, diffuser clearances and the light module seat have been checked digitally for fit and removal.
Still being tested
Print fit, light-module edge contact, cable pull retention, diffuser transmission, stability, operating temperature and repeated assembly. These are made-to-order printed lamps, not certified finished appliances.
No light-output or strength claims are made without measurements.
The principle
Print less material. Lose zero strength.
Every OsTeO design starts the same way real bone does — material only where load actually travels, hollow everywhere else. It's not a style choice, it's the same topology-optimization logic across everything we make, whatever the category.

How it's made
From file to object
-
1
Design
Every piece is topology-optimized before it's ever printed — material goes where load actually travels, not where a mold happens to be easy to fill.
-
2
Split
Larger organic pieces don't fit on one print bed as a single part, so the design gets split into printable sections built to reassemble seamlessly.
-
3
Print
Each piece is additively manufactured in-house, one layer at a time, in the material that fits the piece — not a one-size-fits-all default.
-
4
Assemble & finish
Parts are joined, finished, and inspected by hand before anything ships.

FAQ
Questions
How long does an order take?
Every piece is printed to order, so there is no stock sitting on a shelf. After you order, we will email you an estimated ship date once your piece is in the queue.
Can I choose a different shade or size?
The modular lamp comes in five shades, Rib, Spiral, Stack, Lattice and Shell, and you can change the shade yourself at any time. Extra shades are sold separately. Custom sizes are not offered yet, but you are welcome to get in touch with an idea.
What are the lamps made of?
The lamp is 3D-printed in PETG. The LED light kit is included. A 5 V USB power adapter is not included.
Where do you ship?
The countries and shipping rates available to you appear at checkout. If your country is not listed, contact us and we will see what we can do.
